Die Sonnet-Platte von 2026 unterstützt das ANSI-Layout. ANSI ist das Standardlayout, das in den USA und vielen anderen Ländern verwendet wird, während das ISO-Layout das Standardlayout in vielen europäischen Ländern ist.

Bei den Plattenmaterialien sind das Durchdrückgefühl und die Akustik Geschmackssache. Unserer Erfahrung nach können weichere Materialien die Ermüdung der Finger bei langen Tippeinheiten reduzieren, während festere Materialien ein reaktionsfreudigeres Gefühl vermitteln können. Die Reihenfolge der Plattenmaterialien von weich zu fest ist POM, CF, Aluminium, Kupfer.
