Diese Platine ist mit allen Sonnet-Jahrgängen kompatibel. Der Aufbau des Sonnet mit einer Löt-Platine erfordert zusätzliches Werkzeug (einen Lötkolben), um die Schalter zu installieren. Sie ermöglicht jedoch zusätzliche Layouts.

Die Hotswap-Platine (nur ANSI) benötigt kein zusätzliches Werkzeug und ermöglicht es Ihnen, Schalter jederzeit zu wechseln. Allerdings können Sie nur bestimmte Layouts und eine vollständige Platte verwenden.

Sowohl Hotswap- als auch Lötplatinen sind nur kabelgebunden.
