The CNC milled polycarbonate option feels surprisingly premium—crisp edges, zero flex, and the sandblasted finish hides fingerprints way better than I expected. It’s a solid upgrade that makes the whole build feel more finished, even if you only notice it when you flip the board over.
The sandblasted polycarbonate finish feels smooth but not slippery, which is exactly what I wanted for a daily driver. Took a couple days to get used to the slightly tighter fit, but once it's on, everything lines up perfectly.
The anodized aluminum option looks even better in person than in the photos, and the finish feels really solid against my desk. Took a bit longer to swap out than I expected, but once it’s on, the fit is perfectly snug.
