Every piece of foam you may need for the Sonnet. Each piece can be incorporated or not to alter the sound profile of the keyboard. The Sonnet does not include a foam kit by default and must be purchased separately.
The foam kit is compatible with all versions of the Sonnet and includes the following pieces:
Fiddling with the foam layers was half the fun—I took out the middle one and suddenly the typing sound got this nice, quiet depth without losing the clack. Having every piece separate means I can tweak the profile exactly how I like it, and it's honestly made me enjoy the board even more.
The cutouts fit every cavity perfectly, so I could mix and match pieces to dial in exactly the sound I wanted. Took maybe ten minutes to test a few layouts, and the difference between full foam and none is honestly night and day.
I was skeptical about fiddling with foam layers, but being able to mix and match each piece to tune the sound was way more intuitive than I expected. The kit covers every gap perfectly, and now my board has that deep, quiet thock I was chasing without any hollow ping.
