The bottom case for the SixtyFive comes available in a variety of distinct options. Ranging from anodized, e-coated, or electroplated aluminum to CNC milled and sandblasted polycarbonate, offering a glance into the keyboard’s internals while also allowing the RGB underglow light to pass through. Brass and copper options substantially increase the board’s heft.

SixtyFive extra bottom cases each include a set of grey feet.

The anodized aluminum option looks even better in person than in the photos, and the finish feels really solid against my desk. Took a bit longer to swap out than I expected, but once it’s on, the fit is perfectly snug.

The sandblasted polycarbonate finish feels really nice in hand, and the CNC milling is clean all around. I just wish the bottom case came with the screws included, since that's a small extra trip to the hardware store.
