The stack mount setup took me maybe ten minutes, and the muted sound is exactly what I wanted—no more harsh pinging. It's a simple piece, but it does its job perfectly.
The Poron base cut out most of the fiddly alignment I dreaded with stack mounts—it just sits there and does its job. My board sounds noticeably more muted now, which is exactly the quieter profile I wanted. Assembly took me half the time it used to.
