Voor het bouwen van de Tempo met een soldeer-PCB zijn extra gereedschappen nodig (een soldeerbout) om switches te installeren. Het biedt echter wel extra lay-outs.

De hotswap-PCB's vereisen geen extra gereedschap en maken het eenvoudig om switches te vervangen dankzij Kailh hotswap-sockets die vooraf op de PCB zijn gesoldeerd.

Zowel hotswap- als soldeer-PCB's zijn alleen bedraad.

The extra layouts are the main reason I chose the solder version, and they don't disappoint. Just know you'll need a soldering iron and a steady hand before you start, but the flexibility is worth the effort.

The solder PCB is a nice middle ground if you don't mind busting out the iron; the extra layouts it unlocks are worth the effort. Just remember you'll need to buy a soldering iron separately, which I almost forgot.
