Sonnetin rakentaminen juotettavalla piirilevyllä vaatii lisätyökaluja (juotoskolvin) kytkimien asentamiseen. Se mahdollistaa kuitenkin lisää näppäinasetteluja.

Hotswap-piirilevy (vain ANSI) ei vaadi lisätyökaluja ja mahdollistaa kytkimien vaihtamisen lennossa. Voit kuitenkin käyttää vain tiettyjä asetteluja ja täyttä levyä.

Sekä hotswap- että juotettavat piirilevyt ovat vain langallisia.

The solder PCB opened up way more layout options than I expected, and my soldering iron got plenty of use this weekend. Once the switches are in, the board feels rock solid, and I love that I wasn’t locked into ANSI only.

The extra layouts on the solder PCB are a big win for me — I swapped in a 7u spacebar and arrow cluster without any trouble, though my soldering iron got a solid workout. If you're not into soldering, the hotswap being ANSI-only is a fair tradeoff for the convenience.
