Montar el Sonnet con una placa de soldadura requerirá herramientas adicionales (un soldador) para instalar los interruptores. Sin embargo, permite diseños adicionales.

La placa hotswap (solo ANSI) no requiere herramientas adicionales y te permite cambiar los interruptores sobre la marcha. Sin embargo, solo podrás usar ciertos diseños y una placa completa.

Tanto las placas hotswap como las de soldadura son solo con cable.

The solder PCB opened up way more layout options than I expected, and my soldering iron got plenty of use this weekend. Once the switches are in, the board feels rock solid, and I love that I wasn’t locked into ANSI only.

The extra layouts on the solder PCB are a big win for me — I swapped in a 7u spacebar and arrow cluster without any trouble, though my soldering iron got a solid workout. If you're not into soldering, the hotswap being ANSI-only is a fair tradeoff for the convenience.
