Envoy Universal-pladen understøtter både ANSI- og ISO-layouts. ANSI-layout er standardlayoutet i USA og mange andre lande, mens ISO-layout er standardlayoutet i mange europæiske lande.

For pladematerialer er bundhårdhed og akustik et spørgsmål om præference. I vores erfaring kan blødere materialer hjælpe med at reducere fingertræthed ved lange skrivesessioner, mens hårdere materialer kan give en mere responsiv følelse. Rækkefølgen af pladematerialer fra blød til hård er POM, FR4, kulfiber, aluminium, kobber.

Produktionsaluminiumpladen vil være anodiseret mørkegrå.
