Eighty (2020) Daughterboard

The JST cable is exactly the right length, which made routing inside the case much cleaner than I expected. Plugged it in and the keyboard fired right up—zero fuss, exactly what you want from a spare part.

The JST cable and daughterboard fit perfectly into the Eighty’s case with no fiddling, which was my main worry. It took a couple minutes to swap out the old one and everything’s working as expected. Only gripe is the cable feels a bit stiff, but that’s a minor thing.
